Episode 2: Life Lessons from the Edge of my Comfort Zone

Emma O'Brien Season 1 Episode 2

Send us a text

On a recent trip to Mozambique I surprised myself by agreeing to try a surfing lesson (I'm not a fan of adventure sports).

In this episode I share 3 important things I learned from that first and very messy attempt at surfing waves:

1. Being gentle and giving yourself grace is essential
2. Practice and persistence are skills that pay off
3. Surround yourself with people who support you (and ignore those who don't)

It's really challenging to be nudged out of your comfort zone, but it's where the real magic of life happens.

When was the last time you tried something new???
